I’m Amanda, a lifelong horse rider and traveller behind Gaja Adventures. Horses have been part of my life since I was six, shaping the way I explore and experience the world.
Today I call Albania home, creating small-group horseback adventures that connect people with horses, nature and local culture.

I keep the groups small so there is space to enjoy the horses, the landscape and the people around you.

I look for trails that take you beyond the obvious, through mountains, coastlines, villages and places that still feel connected to everyday life.
Local experience
Food, traditions, people and landscapes are part of the journey. I want you to experience the place, not simply pass through it.

The wellbeing of the horses is always a priority. I work with trusted partners who care for their horses and treat them with respect.

From the mountains of Albania to the Atlas landscapes of Morocco, each destination offers a different way to experience the world from the saddle. Discover places, people and trails that invite you to slow down and stay a little longer.

01 Do I need riding experience?
Our adventures are suitable for different levels of riding experience. Some routes are better suited to experienced riders, while others can welcome confident beginners. Each adventure includes details about the required experience.
02 What is included in the price?
This depends on the adventure. Accommodation, meals, horses and guiding can be included, together with other elements specific to the journey. You will find the exact details on each adventure page.
03 How does transport work?
Transport arrangements depend on the destination. Where airport transfers are included, this will be clearly stated in the adventure details.
04 When is the best time to ride?
Each destination has its own riding season. The best dates are listed with each adventure.
05 Can I travel solo?
Absolutely. Many guests join on their own. Small groups make it easy to meet others and quickly feel part of the journey.
06 How do I book?
